Day 37: My Father in Law Front Page News Across Canada 

We had my Father in Laws funeral on the weekend and he was literally front-page news across Canada for passing away in a hospital bathroom and not getting found for 4 days while we frantically searched for Big Al.

They might need to hire some new cleaning staff?

But hey, what do I know.

I did an emotional tribute to him on behalf of all his kids. It was an honor to speak but I’m sure you can understand it takes a lot out of you.

It’s Sunday night and I’m BEAT. 

His funeral reminded me of being interviewed on a popular podcast a few months ago. The host JV Crum asked me, and I can’t remember the exact question, “What is the end game for you?”

My answer was “I want 1000 people at my funeral.”

He’s done hundreds of interviews and asked that same question… He said that’s the most unique answer he’d ever gotten to that rather generic question.

I hope you’ll be there.

But no time soon!

Anyhoo….

On Friday I was explaining about Product VS Distribution and how you can really CHANGE THE GAME when you understand the importance of the distribution side.

China is not always the amazing solution it’s made out to be.

Rather than follow on from that I’m going to honor my Father in Law today and say this instead. It was sent to me, in a time of need, by one of my dearest friends, Kate Samarutunga.
