One Thing: Day 442: Turbulence

Day 442: Turbulence

Last week we covered a lot of ground and also talked a lot about planning for your success.

Speaking of plans going awry…

My wife bought a blender to make me some healthy smoothies.

Without getting into the finer details…

I’m yet to get a green smoothie but she makes some kick-ass Margherita’s now.

In other news…

Nobody creates a plan to be broke, fat, lazy, and stupid. That’s just what happens when you don’t have a plan.

So last week I got the dreaded virus…

Wasn’t fun but I lived and here I am to write another email and the million questions I got (what was it like?) have led me to deliver this to you.

When you take off in an airplane… at about 9000 feet the pilot turns off the seatbelt sign and that’s when you’re able to ‘move freely throughout the cabin.’

Sometimes the plane hits unexpected turbulence and the pilot needs to turn the seatbelt light back on.

The pilot didn’t lie, change his mind, flip flop or withhold information from you…

The pilot received NEW INFORMATION REGARDING NEW CIRCUMSTANCES and decided it’s not safe for you and for other passengers to move freely in the cabin… so he hit the seatbelt sign.

If you don’t want a big 300-pound unbalanced Gorilla falling on your lap… you should be thinking, thank you.

To not be flexible and understanding as a passenger… would be ridiculous.

I’ll let you decide whether this is a metaphor for other goings-on in your life.

Be kind and always remember life is A MIRROR.

Seek first to understand… then seek to be understood.

You heard it here first.

Now, pick up the phone and go help someone.
