‘You Guys / Everyone’
You can tell a lightweight coach when they address their audience as a whole… they use expressions like:
“You guys…”
“What does everyone think…”
“Do you guys like this…”
“Hi everyone…”
‘Everyone’ and ‘you guys’ don’t exist.
There is no group.
Only ONE PERSON can take in your words at any one time.
This goes for:
A Sales Page
A Sales Video
Speaking on Stage
Writing an Email
Speaking to a Group on Zoom
Running a Training Session for a Client
A Group Text
A Group PM
Etc…
Speak to the group as if you’re speaking to a single person.
You simply do this by using the word YOU.
BTW if you want to see an example of me presenting and pitching coaching…
