Day 429: Your Squeeze Page

Yesterday I was explaining the 7 principles of freedom.

Speaking of freedom…

A blonde, brunette, and a redhead all voted for Trump and were subsequently sentenced to execution by firing squad.

While in custody they came up with a plan to distract the soldiers at the last second and escape.

The redhead went first and when the captain was counting down to zero, about to execute her, she yelled, “TORNADO”…

The soldiers all ducked for cover and she jumped over the wall and managed to escape.

The brunette went next and as the captain counted down again, she yelled “EARTHQUAKE”…

The soldiers ducked for cover and she also jumped over the wall and escaped.

The blonde was up next and excited by the other two escaping… as the captain counted down, she yelled:


In other news…

Anger is punishment that you give yourself for someone else’s mistake.


‘A Squeeze Page’

I don’t pretend to be the ‘internet marketing guy’… frankly I couldn’t think of anything worse.

I’d recommend learning financial statements overbuilding cute websites.

I read Letters to Shareholders rather than the latest Internet Marketing Secrets.

That being said I’ve driven a ton of traffic and have made many millions of dollars on the internet…

A magic pill of digital marketing is being able to create a successful squeeze page.

What goes into a successful squeeze page I hear you ask..?

Here’s a 10-step guide you can use for yourself and your high-end coaching clients.

  1. Get rid of all navigation options (you don’t want them clicking away from the page and getting lost).
  2. Keep key content ‘above the fold’ (like an old school newspaper folded over… the most important info must fit on the screen without needing to scroll down)
  3. Understand the avatar of your ideal client… an in-depth understanding (hint: if you look in the mirror… you’re likely looking at your ideal client)
  4. Don’t start until you have a clear understanding of your desired OUTCOME
  5. Create a headline that will grab your IDEAL CLIENTS’ attention by interruption
  6. Identify and address the PROBLEM the ideal client wants to be solved
  7. Gather social proof that starts with where the ideal client was prior to working with you… how your product / program helped in a systematic and dummy-proof way… and then where they ended up (success your client is looking for. Example: My clients can often earn $350,000 in their first 9 months as a business coach).
  8. A compelling offer your ideal client CAN’T REFUSE
  9. A call to action (name, email address and phone number. Note: The information you ask for the lower your conversions, generally)
  10. Use DATA to make decisions… not your ‘gut’ (Gut stands for: Gave Up Thinking)

Bonus Tip: I’ve often said on my podcast:

“A wealth hack is to train your mind to think in percentages.”


Your squeeze page is converting at 2%… you make some adjustments and increase it to 3%. The uneducated will see a 1% improvement and not get very excited.

The PRO (thinks in percentages cough, cough like my Profit Acceleration Software teaches) sees a 50% improvement (2% to 3% is a 50% improvement not a 1% improvement) and knows they’re on the right track.
