Day 330: RIP Momma

On Saturday night my second Mom, my beautiful Momma, passed away.

No words could allow me to express how much she meant to me and how special our bond was.

You’d never know I wasn’t flesh and blood.

When I was 16 and my big brother committed suicide…

I understandably went off the rails and it was Momma, my best friend’s Mom, and the entire family Dino, Russ, and Kim that stepped in to help guide me.

She constantly reminded me of how proud she was of my successes.

If you could say a prayer for Sherry Grant that would be appreciated.

The world lost a remarkable human and heaven got an absolute certified beautician (hockey talk for a legend).

I’ve sent her a daily morning text for the longest time and this is the last one I sent her on Saturday AM… little did I know it would be the last one.

“I almost choked cause I was laughing so hard at this one haha. I love you so much Momma. Thank you for being you and being such an inspiring role model to all your kids. Miracles happen everyday. I’m sending prayers and positive vibes as always. I LOVE YOU!

RIP Momma, I love you and miss you already.

I’m comforted knowing you’re in God’s hands.

Anyhoo….

‘Completing Your Goal’

Momma was a superstar salesperson and was a high achiever in the Amway world many moons ago.

As consummate high achievers do…

She set a goal and then followed a process to achieve it.

Therefore, as a tribute to my beautiful Momma… here’s her process for knocking over tough tasks and goals.

1. Your dream written down with a DATE…

Becomes your goal.

2. Your goal written broken down into STEPS….

Becomes your plan.

3. Your plan backed by ACTION…

Becomes your reality.

Date, Steps, and Action.

But, as stoic, Momma, bets you won’t do it.

And, she bets your high-end coaching clients won’t either…

Momma’s challenge accepted, Coach?

You might remember this advice which I used to place in emails consistently…

“You don’t have a client problem.

You don’t have a money problem. 

You have a refusal to help people before they pay you problem. 

That’s your problem.”

Momma approves of this message.
