Day 252: Performance Based Culture

Last week amongst other things we talked about how I know my wife thinks I’m hot cause every time I walk by, I can hear her say:

“What an ass”


What you think… You BECOME.

What you feel… you ATTRACT.

What you imagine… you CREATE.



‘Embracing Management’

If you want to coach business owners to 7-figures and make a small fortune off your contingency deals… this is one I recommend you pay attention to.

As you coach your high-end coaching clients and they achieve their goals you’ll find them growing.

Growth requires sales…

But sustained growth requires management.

Sustained growth is otherwise known as CONSTANT CHANGE.

Most companies (management) are proven to resist change whereas the great companies EMBRACE IT.

If you’ve never grown a large company… this can be challenging.

To Simplify, Management Requires Three Things:

  1. Create a long-term vision for the company (See Day 191 for examples from Tesla, Uber, Google, and Microsoft)
  2. Build a performance-based culture that welcomes change
  3. Develop, document, and continually improve operation structure

A performance-based culture embraces change and sees change as an opportunity to test and measure against projections.

These new measurements (normally ignored entirely) add to the collective knowledge that help drive advancement in the business.

Change will move everyone out of their comfort zones and should be seen as an opportunity to explode the businesses collective knowledge rather than a threat.

To sum it all up for a ‘post it note’ you can place on your computer:

Performance based organizations use CHANGE to drive innovation and growth.

Non performance based organizations RESIST CHANGE and therefore resist innovation and growth.
