Yesterday I was explaining how I spent about four hours in silence staring at myself as well as how it went when my Dad tried to change his password online.

Speaking of things that could be turned into Saturday Night Live skits…

I have a semi normal Aunt and Uncle, different from my Drunk Aunt you’ve gotten to know, they came over for dinner and here’s a conversation I overheard:

Uncle: We need to spend less.

Aunt: Stop buying Zacapa rum.

Uncle: No, stop buying pillows.

Aunt: I don’t want to.

Uncle: Then that settles that.

In other news…

You have to matter to yourself so you don’t feel the need to matter to others.

Anyhoo…

‘7 Random Hockey Thoughts’

While away in Europe playing hockey at the old man World Championships… here are a few random thoughts running through my mind:

1. Pros win tournaments and losers lose tournaments.

*Stats on unforced errors, fumbles, turnovers and penalties will tell you who won the championship game without seeing the scoreboard.

2. You have all the weapons you need. Now fight.

3. You’re not tired cause you’ve done too much… you’re tired cause you didn’t do enough of what sparks a light in you.

4. When you sit with Warriors… the conversation is different.

5. Your circle is supposed to be proud not jealous.

6. You can’t see your dreams if you’re tuned into everyone else’s.

7. It’s not who you are, where you are, what you have or what you’re doing that creates happiness. It’s what you think about.

BONUS RANDOM THOUGHT: Your respect comes after your work… not before.

You heard it here first.

Now, pick up the phone and go help someone.
