Day 328: Inversion: Mental Model

Yesterday I was explaining how The Four Agreements can help you build relationships… specifically with yourself.

Speaking of relationships with yourself.

Apparently, when you drink a beer you shorten your life by 9 minutes.

So, according to my hockey days…

I died about 7 years ago.

In other news…

A major key to success lies in making your buyer the hero.

Anyhoo…

Your ONE COACHING THING Today Is:

‘Mental Model: Inversion’

I touched on this two weeks ago…  and the feedback / questions / dialogue have been insane.

Rather than thinking about your ideal outcome, you’d be better off starting with the outcome you desire to avoid.

Let’s assume you want to do a lead generation program to get new high end coaching clients.

Instead Of Asking:

“What are the top 5 things I need to do to make the campaign a success?”

Follow the ‘Mental Model: Inversion’ and ask yourself this instead:

“What are the top 5 things that could prevent my lead generation campaign from working?”

Instead of “What does an amazing life look like?”

As yourself:

“What does a brutal life look like?”

Follow this consistently…

Do the same with your high end coaching clients.

Watch what happens.
