Yesterday I was explaining Intellectual Property and some of the magic it can provide you and your high-end coaching clients.

‘More on Intellectual Property’
So, the feedback from yesterday is that you want to hear more on the magic and importance of Intellectual Property (IP).
A companies IP basically lives in three primary domains.
A. Intellectual Capital
C. Human resources
Here I’ll list four primary functions of IP:
1. Packaged Intelligence
A Book or a Training Program would be elementary examples.
2. Knowledge that can be converted into profits
Example: Having a cashflow problem and understanding that collecting your ‘accounts receivable’ (creation of a system to do so) rather than ‘running FB ads’ is one million times as effective.
Or understanding that offering a 10% discount means your high end coaching clients need to SELL 33% more to breakeven… would be examples.
3. Brands and Trademarks
The Nike Swoosh which increases sales of almost anything it’s placed on. Same as the New York Yankees, Dallas Cowboys etc…
Example: McDonald’s licensing the right to place Star Wars figures in the Happy Meal.
I’d encourage you to explore these examples with your high end coaching clients and help them understand and profit from their intellectual property.
The unidentified profits can be incredible.
