Mission Impossible (Part 2) with Karl Bryan

by | Karl Bryan | 0 comments

Noticed at every Olympics world records break left, right and center?

How would you like to create a world record week for your business and watch it shatter multiple times throughout the year while your bank balance soars and your clients love you?

How about the same for your coaching clients while they pay you handsomely and refer you to their friends and colleagues.

In my previous post, I talked about Mission Impossible and the lessons I learned while at the movies with my family as I ate popcorn and drank the largest Coke they had in stock… and with a big fat smile on my face!!

MI broke all kinds of records at the box office.

Here I want to talk about shattering business and revenue records MI style.

Firstly, in order to create a world record – you must be helping your clients keep statistics and tracking sales and revenue for the company. If you aren’t, you’re not alone so don’t get frustrated, but the time to start is NOW. You’ll often hear me say ‘Test, measure and then decide!’

Develop a reason to offer an exceptional sales opportunity for your valued clients to create a bumper week/month. Use this situation/reason/event to notify your customers and get them patronizing your coaching clients so they don’t miss out.

Here are some reasons I’ve created “promotions” with my coaching clients over the years (tweak to suit your clients):

1. The first-time offer to new clients (Starter Kit, I used to own a hockey rink and hockey store. I created a starter kit for new players and it sold like hot cakes. For your coaching, create a program where they pay $10,000 upfront to get started with you and only $997 per month ongoing. But the $10,000 is paid off based on performance [the $997 monthly fees starts immediately]… $2500 once they hit certain targets.  If the company did $250K Last year… It can be $5000 Once they hit $325,000 and another $5000 once they hit $425,000. Even if you never realize your $10,000 upfront payment [which you’re probably not charging]… You just closed A $997 per month client easier and it felt like a partnership).

2. Reward and recognize customer loyalty (the amount they have spent or time between first and last purchase. Once your coaching client hits the 12-month mark they get recognition)

3. Over-stocked – we have $100,000.00 of new inventory… no place to fit it all because the shipping company made a boo-boo… come in and see all the incredible offers on amazing new stock

4. “This month is the slowest trading month of our year – come to take advantage of the 30 Day massive specials”

5. Stock Take Time or Tax season

6. “My Accountant thinks I am a crazy sale…”

7. Offer a FREE gift that is impressive

8. Triple coupon days

9. Tie in a special with major events like Super Bowl, World Series, Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Final show of the Bachelor (don’t ask… ;-), the launch of a new movie everyone is talking about like Mission Impossible.

10. 2 for 1 sale (Buy a new car this weekend and get a second used car absolutely FREE of charge!)

11. Accepting old goods as a trade-in on new seasons stock that just arrived

12. Bring a celebrity to your business for a day and have them sign autographs

13. Host a VIP party to show next seasons stock that they can pre-buy before the public

14. You’re trying to break a “World Record Week” for your company…. cut off date is Wednesday – come in and bring your friends!

Almost every business, including us business coaches, hits a speedbump where cash is at a premium and a surge in sales would be helpful. Always have your clients aim to ‘sell out of tough times’ rather than borrow or sell off equity.

Listed above are a number of ways this can be done for you and your coaching clients.

Now that you have an understanding of how to “Create a World Record Week” (or month) and solve ‘cash crunches’ through promotions… you should be on your way to a larger bank balance.

OK… this is a little embarrassing but I watch ‘The Bachelorette”… My wife makes me LOL. Not really but it makes it less embarrassing if I say that haha.

I’ve seen some serious and impressive business and marketing lessons from Becca and the crew.

For all the alpha males reading… I’ll apologize in advance for my lack of manliness HAHA. BTW my 5-year-old daughter painted my toenails pink this morning so I’m feeling less manly than ever :^)

I hope Becca picks Garrett :o)

Thanks for tuning in,

Karl
