My nephew Dick also had a question for Dave at Thanksgiving Dinner and here’s their conversation:

Dick: Dave how do you come up with your friends’ funny names?

Dangerous Dave: They earn them.

I call Mike ‘Rat’ cause he always wants to go home. Bill is ‘Deck Chair’ cause he always folds under pressure. Stu is ‘Seaweed’ because he floats around all day.

My workmate ‘Motion Light’ only works when someone is walking by.

Dick: What about ‘Foreskin’?

Dangerous Dave: He disappears when things get hard.

Dick: And why do you call your hockey buddy Bryan Van Luyk, ‘Bryan Van Schlong?’

*silence*
