Yesterday I was explaining how the average are ego driven while the elite are standard driven as well as what happened when I gave Wifey the gluestick rather than the chapstick.

Speaking of people still not talking to me…

I slipped away from all our clients and am having dinner by myself right now.

I ordered lemon, squeezed it into my water and accidentally squirted it straight into my eye.

Looks like I’m at the table by myself right now crying.

I’m taking a long walk along the beach right now prior to BCM8 starting… here are my thoughts:

1. Take a walk today… No one has ever taken a walk and then thought ‘I wish I didn’t take a walk.’

2. Humility is a Super Power.

3. Failure is not optional… learning from your failure is.

4. One of the greatest gifts you can give a loved one, expectation… have high expectations but not impossible expectations.  Yourself and loved ones.

5. There’s a famous hockey quote of ‘Do Your Job.’ Premise is… do your job but don’t do their job.

6. Great coaches are hardest on their most promising students. *See number 3

7. Ambitious and lazy is a brutal combination.

You heard it here first.

Now, pick up the phone and go help someone.
