Yesterday I was explaining how you need to become the teacher / creator rather than the student / consumer as well as how Dangerous Dave managed to have his childhood sweetheart, his best friend and the most beautiful girl he’s ever met all turn him down in one day.

I’m reading a book on marriage.

It says to treat your wife like you treated her on the first date, so after we finish dinner I’m dropping her off at her parents house.

I watched ‘Air’ last night for the third time… a great movie about Michael Jordan and the effort to sign him out of college.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are awesome.

Here’s an observation:

Lebron James doesn’t pay for his shoes… he earns $15 million per year FOR LIFE to wear Nike.

Serena Williams didn’t pay for her shoes… she was paid $55 million in an 8 year span.

Maria Sharapova signed a $70 million dollar deal to wear Nike.

Tiger Woods has a $100 million dollar 5 year deal.

Rory Mcllroy signed a ten year $200 million dollar deal.

Michael Jordan didn’t pay for his shoes… Nike paid him (and famously gave him a percentage of each pair sold) to the tune of billions.

Shoes, soft drinks, apparel, hotels, beer, insurance, hotels, banks, car companies, airlines etc… all do it.

Translation: Apparently sponsorships work…

… you should think about sponsoring some prospects / clients / partners.

Help your clients do same.
