Speaking of things that didn’t work out but full points for effort…

He was at it again with his friend Russ, here’s our conversation afterwards.

Russ: Dave was trying to drop one liners on the pretty girls over the weekend.

Me: What did he say?

Russ: The first one that walked by he blurted out, ‘Wanna go halves on a baby?’

Me: Response?

Russ: Not good. The next one walks by and he says, ‘Wanna go make out in my car?’

Me: Lordy. Any others?

Russ: Yup, the Hail Mary was ‘Are you tired from running through my mind all night?’

Me: So, he went home alone again?

Russ: Yup.
