Me: OK, let’s refer to her as ‘aggressively helpful’… and I like how she sets such low personal standards and consistently fails to achieve them.
10-year-old Daughter: Any other reason you dislike her?
Me: It’s not her… it’s her eyebrows.
10-year-old Daughter: What positive quality does she have?
Me: I like that her favorite essential oil is bacon grease.
10-year-old Daughter: *good talk*
