– I bet there has been a noticeable drop off in kids identifying as cats in Springfield schools.

– Business Idea: For $300 an hour pose as a couples therapist and creatively tell the other spouse they’re wrong about everything.

In other news…

The business world is run and owned by optimists… be optimistic.

This guy was the Co-Founder of AngelList and the book The Almanack of Naval Ravikant is awesome.

Here are some high level Naval thoughts for you to get your week started:

– In business being optimistic adds 25 points to your IQ.

– Life is a ‘single player game’… it’s all really going on in your head.

– Study microeconomics, game theory, psychology, persuasion, ethics, mathematics, and computers.

– Desire is suffering (Buddha)

– All greatness comes from suffering.

– Negotiation: He who cares less wins.

– Be present above all else.

– If you are unsure of a decision the answer is no.

– Reading and learning is the ultimate high-achievers skill

– Teaching forces learning.

– The concept of compound interest is where are life’s real benefits come from.

– Praise specifically and criticize generally. (Warren Buffett)

– Track everyone of your thoughts and ask yourself, “why am I having this thought?”

–  Math is the language of nature.

–  Love is given and not received.

– Happiness is a skill that can be learned.

– True happiness comes from aligning our actions and purpose.

– A calm mind, a fit body, and a house full of love. These things cannot be bought.

They must be earned.
