Day 1064: Insane. Live. Events.

Last week we covered a lot of ground including how you want it now but you don’t want to be in the now as well as how two friends named their kids George and Andrew after St George’s Day and St Andrew’s Day.

Speaking of their friend naming his kid Pancake for the same reason…

I need to watch a movie with a plot twist that’ll have me in disbelief for days.

Anyhoo…

Your one PROFIT ACCELERATION THING today is:

‘The Work is Insane’

‘There’s a price to pay and sacrifices to make in order to achieve your BIG GOALS.’

And that’s OK.

Common for me to hear: “I just want to be a speaker and run regular local live events.”

That’s like saying, I want to throw the football on Sunday like Tom Brady and have millions of people cheer for me.

Do you want to not drink, not party with your friends, go to bed early, eat bland healthy food, intensely workout for 8 hours per day and get chased around the field by monster lineman that run faster than some Olympic sprinters and weigh more than a Sumo wrestler while they try, everything in their power, to injure you..?

Also, forego the family vacation to have hip and elbow surgery as soon as the season ends so you can start rehabbing ASAP to be ready for training camp as to not allow the upstart rookie a shot at your roster spot?

Translation: The work is insane but so is the payoff.

Therefore…

If you want to run regular local live events then you need to pick up the phone, fire out messages, inspire on social media, learn new skills like FB ads, handle an insane amount of REGULAR rejection and work harder than you’ve ever worked, talk more than you’ve ever talked, shake more hands than you’ve ever shook to get the momentum (get your airplane off the tarmac and to cruising altitude) you need to carry you.

Translation: The work is insane but so is the payoff.

Rather than write down your goal of doing local live events as a speaker…

… Write down a list of sacrifices you’re willing to make to fill your local live events.

You heard it here first.

Now, pick up the phone and go help someone.
