Day 591: The TRUTH
Yesterday I was explaining how two similar events were manipulated differently by the media and also how insane it is that the world depends on the top 6 inches of soil and the fact that it rains.
Speaking of insanity…
Dangerous Dave is the kinda guy that not only dances like nobody’s watching but he drinks as if he doesn’t have to work the next day.
He was staying at a hotel and called the front desk for a wake-up call and here’s how the conversation went:
Dangerous Dave: “Hi, I need a wake-up call.”
Front Desk Lady: “You’re an alcoholic with broken relationships whose ignoring those that matter. Your whole life is falling apart.”
Dangerous Dave: “Thanks.”
In other news…
If you want to know who controls you… just look at who you’re not allowed to
criticize.
Anyhoo…

‘The TRUTH’
In case you didn’t notice, Elon Musk is a pretty popular guy these days…. Here’s a
fascinating 7 word response to an interview question:
Interviewer: “Why do you think you’re so successful?”
Elon Musk: “I have an obsession with the truth.”
He didn’t elaborate or justify it…
… just dropped those 7 words and waited for the interviewer to gather himself for the
next question.
Here’s my interpretation of what he means…
He isn’t worried about ideas, viability, formulas, frameworks, culture etc…
He’s obsessed with reasoning from first principles and the TRUTH.
Example:
If a house is built with bricks… the bricks are made of sand and alumina. Sand is
primarily made up of quartz and mica. Quartz is primarily silicon and oxygen.
Therefore… the primary, and attainable, material of a house is sand.
Another example:
Musk wants to launch rocket ships into outer space. He established buying rockets
was far too expensive so he boiled it down to their primary components and parts…
found them to be reasonably inexpensive.
Therefore… It was cheaper to build rockets from scratch despite the loss in time to
build versus buy.
That’s exactly what he did.
Question, what’s the TRUTH about your current situation and the goals you’re trying
to achieve.
What’s the TRUTH about your high end coaching client’s current situation and the
goals they’re trying to achieve?
The answers might find you visiting Mars with the alien that’s just trying to find his
way home.
