Day 98: Don’t Be Sad It’s Over… 

Yesterday I was explaining the primary reason coaches fail is that they never actually start.

Kinda insane when you think about it.

It’s New Year’s Eve and I hope you’re planning on having a good time with your friends and family.

I’m starting a bar called ‘Resolutions’… it’ll be a gym for the first month of the year and then it’ll turn into a bar on Feb 1st.   

I can already read my Mother in Laws text:

Me:

Mother in Law:

Anyhoo…

Todays ONE THING is one from Dr. Seuss but I’m pretty sure I know it from Jerry Seinfeld talking about his show’s finale.

“Don’t be sad that it’s over… Smile because it happened.”

My guess is that you might find yourself guilty of this on too many occasions.

The holiday.

The event.

The relationship.

The business.

The joint venture.

The coaching client.

The NYE party 2020??

I choose to be happy that I used to have a belly button rather than commiserating over its demise.

Ya, that was weird.

But don’t pretend like you don’t agree that’s ‘next level’ thinking.
