Day 96: More Coaching Leads/Courage

If you want proof I write all these myself… check out yesterday’s where I unintentionally used the word ‘super’ about 6 times in the first 2.5 sentences.

Normally I’d blame it on the beer but we’re having a dry Christmas.

Note to self: I’m much funnier and my jokes work better when everyone around me is drinking.

Next year I’m going to be all about a wet Christmas.

Here’s how my Mother in Law started our turkey dinner.

Mother in Law: “You know guys, Tammi and Karl were super happy for twenty-five years…

… Then they met each other.”

Me: Very funny Joan Rivers, pass the gravy down.

Anyhoo…

It’s seldom I meet a business coach that doesn’t say “I’m terrible at generating leads for my coaching.”

Your ONE THING today is that lead generation for your coaching business is all about one word:

COURAGE.

I don’t know a lot about a lot.

But I’m comfortable saying that I know A LOT about successfully generating leads for business coaching.

My businesses have been built on the back of successfully getting business owners attention for coaching.

I drive traffic every single day on FB, LI, IG etc… including on Christmas Day while I was stuffing my face with turkey.

That’s a lot of online traffic/direct mail/telemarketing / radio advertising / referrals etc…

A lot of wasted money and FRUSTRATION.

Also, a lot of successful activity.

The secret is “COURAGE IS FINDING SOMETHING MORE IMPORTANT TO YOU – THAN YOUR FEAR.”

I put that in capitals so you don’t miss it.

Here are a few of my reasons:

  • Get divorced at significantly higher rates than the average
  • End up with kids stuck in the middle of two parents fighting (I’m the poster boy for this)
  • Commit suicide
  • Unnecessarily struggle to make it all work
  • Lack accountability
  • They struggle with depression
  • Fail at alarming rates
  • When they fail it takes them 2 years to ‘get back on their feet’ and takes an enormous emotional and financial toll
  • The list goes on and on….

If you cared enough that business owners fail, go (unnecessarily) broke, get divorced, commit suicide at alarming rates and raise children with less ‘certainty’ than ideal (kids NEED certainty)…

You might not get so ‘triggered’ when they ignore you or heaven forbid don’t reply to your message.

If you played soccer and every time the ball didn’t come to you….

You cried in your cornflakes.

You’d suck.

To be good at soccer (or any other sport) you need to go get the damn ball and work for it.

So stop giving up!

They need your help, direction and accountability (any maybe my new software if you were using it??? Hint hint… After all it is Christmas season).

Question for you, Coach:

“What is more important to you than your FEAR?”

When you get it right…

The magic lies in your answer.

You heard it here first.
