• Look Back at How Far Your Loved Ones Have Come
• Look Back at How Far You’ve Come
• Remind Yourself ‘its just a game’ and No One is Getting Out Alive
• Remind Yourself That You’re Leaving the Same Way You Came In… With NOTHING.

Feel free to add to your holiday checklist, and please don’t forget to include yourself in the kind gestures you provide others.

You know, there was a time in my life when the holidays were a battle.

And I mean, A BATTLE.

I totally isolated myself and the people around me had no idea what I was going through.

I’ll never forget a friend, Nick Etchells, who’s a prominent journalist in Australia today.

He came over on Christmas Eve with a six pack of beer, and I’ll never forget the gesture.

Christmas and the holidays are a tough time of year for many.

If you’re having a tough go… please don’t isolate yourself.

If you know of someone having a tough time and you’re thinking ‘well they’d reach out if they wanted to talk/needed anything.’

The people that NEED TO TALK are the ones you don’t and won’t hear from.

They isolate themselves.

Reach out and also reach out.

It just might mean the world to someone for the next 20 years like it did when my wicked friend came unannounced to my place when I needed him.

But would never admit it.

What a LEGEND.
