This is next level thinking IMO.
When the problem I’m facing seems insurmountable… I make my goal MUCH BIGGER.
If your short-term goal was to run a live event with ten business owners but you’re struggling mightily to get ten people to attend.
What would happen if you changed your goal to be 100X it’s current size?
‘Increasing the level of consciousness of local business owners and eradicating business failure in my city within 3 years through entertaining and educational business events.’
Think it might become a little easier to fill that event?
Not to mention when you speak to the prospective joint venture partner do you think you might have a better chance of inspiring them to promote you when you have such high expectations of yourself and your abilities… and your mission?
If your goal is to keep your client for a full 12 month period.
Change it to, ‘Putting $150,000 profit into their bank account, directly attributed to you, within 60 days of starting with your new client and getting 5 referrals from them.’
Think that client is cancelling?
Here it is in a single sentence for you:
‘When the obstacle is winning… increase your goal 100X.’
