Speaking of big problems…

Dangerous Dave had to go to the doctor so his Fiancé drove him.

Here’s how the Doctor visit went:

Doctor: We need a urine sample, a stool sample, and a semen sample.

Dangerous Dave: *bad hearing, asks his Fiancé* What did he say?

Fiancé: He needs a pair of your underwear.

In other news…

To the parents of stubborn little girls with fierce attitudes… don’t put out that fire, they’re gonna need it.

Anyhoo…

Your One PROFIT ACCELERATION THING Today Is:

‘Quick, Fast, Money’

I gets asked all the time why we created something complicated like business coaching software.

Here’s the reason and an insanely important business lesson.

If a business is easy to start and makes money right away… that means it can be duplicated easily.

If it can be easily duplicated that means uncommitted idiots looking for a quick buck are on the way.

If uncommitted idiots are on the way you’ll have lots of competition.

If you have lots of competition and it can be duplicated easily you won’t be able to exit because they’d just copy you instead.

If it can be duplicated easily its not valuable so you get a poor valuation / multiple if you were to exit.

On the other hand…

A complicated business that’s expensive and difficult to start is not easily duplicatable.

A complicated business that doesn’t make money right away keeps the uncommitted idiots away.

A complicated business that doesn’t make money right away will have less competition.

A complicated business that doesn’t make money right away will have ‘value’ and be exitable at a high multiple.

A complicated business that doesn’t make money right away will get a great valuation / multiple upon exit.

Here it is in a single sentence for you:

‘Complicated businesses that don’t make profits for a period of time are significantly more difficult to get going and significantly more profitable and sustainable over the long haul.’

So that’s why I went into software…

… to keep the idiots away.
