Yesterday I was explaining how I had to ban overly specific nicknames like Rat Snitch Dave the Good Time Ruiner and how you need to look for reasons to advance… not retreat.

Speaking of advancing humanity…

My friend’s wife gave birth in her car on the way to the hospital and he named the kid Carson.

If you don’t think that’s the best Dad joke ever, I don’t think I can help you.

When I’m behind a slow car I steer my car a little to the right so the people behind me can see it isn’t my fault.

Anyhoo..

As a follow on to yesterdays message…

.. we’re all looking and seeing the same crap.

But one person (gender neutral) sees a beautiful sunset and the other gets anxious watching ‘the end’ of another day.

One person gets a diagnosis and sees a reason to retreat.

Another person gets the same diagnosis and sees a reason to FIGHT!

One person becomes an empty-nester and goes downhill.

Another person becomes an empty nester and goes travelling!

One person sees FB advertising and sees an expensive, confusing, intimidating mess.

Another person sees FB advertising and sees a beautiful, endless stream of enthusiastic leads!

A professional photographer can’t change the view.

So they (gender neutral) change the size of the lense, the angle of the camera for the best shot.

Therefore…

When you cant change ‘your view’ (impending recession / separation / failure)…

… change your perspective of the situation (impending recession / separation / failure).

Here it is in two single sentences for you:

‘You see what you want to see.’

‘BIG problems create BIG opportunities.’

You heard it here first.
