Speaking of things that are worth it…

My wife and I have created this great new way of settling arguments.

We toss a coin.

Heads she wins, tails I apologize.

In other news…

We’re all alike… it’s only our habits that separate us.



‘Luxury Margins’

On my podcast recently I was discussing the importance of margins.

The scenario was, imagine working with a new client and their business is called:

‘Budget Furniture’…

Then having the business owner express ‘surprise’ low-end individuals wanting to buy inexpensive tables, chairs, couches etc… were the ones calling.


On the top of my list to help them…?

Change their name and branding to something like ‘Prestige Furniture’ or ‘Luxury

Furniture’ and they’ll almost instantly attract a higher calibre client…

What kind of margins do you think ‘3 for 1 Pizza’ has without even needing to enquire?

Not to mention the quality of the ingredients.

What a stupid idea…

… unless of course you like to work really hard while building a lame business.

In a nutshell… only luxury goods have luxury margins.
