Day 612: My ‘Not To Do’ List


Yesterday I was explaining how getting pissed off can become insanely profitable… well, it didn’t work out well for Will Smith, but I digress…

… And how passion is not what you do but what you bring to what you do.

Speaking of passion projects…

Here is part of my conversation with our ten-day house guest:

Me: Yesterday you were redesigning your DNA, freeing yourself of ancestral trauma while mastering your soul lessons and cultivating space for the abundance flow you were in… how did all that go?

Drunk Aunt: I finished three books.

Me: Wow that’s great!

Drunk Aunt: I know… and believe me, that’s a ton of coloring for one day.

Me: *Good chat*

In other news…

When you buy stuff, you end up with stuff.




1. Don’t spend all your time in groups with other coaches online… get into groups where your IDEAL CLIENT is.

2. Don’t message someone because you need a client… ask questions, add value and help solve their problems.

3. Don’t follow the 23-year-old coach crushing it on Tik Tok with the rented Lambo if you’re 50 years old, happily married with kids and don’t know what Tik Tok is…

4. Don’t use spray and pray as your technique to build your coaching business.

It’s a solved problem… so silly to try go it alone and work it out yourself.

5. Don’t become a business coach and not learn the basic financials required for your client to stay in the safe zone (‘big’ does NOT equal ‘rich’… often the exact opposite). Translation: Revenues are for vanity, profits for your sanity but cash is King.

6. Don’t ‘do your best’ and then quit… the secret is to do what it takes.

7. Don’t get disillusioned cause the world isn’t fair. Deal with it.

8. Don’t say you will do something and then not do it.

9. Don’t do something that works and then stop doing it. “It worked so well that I no longer do it.”

10. Don’t start with ads and expensive funnels. If it doesn’t work organically (your FB, LI feeds etc…) its not going to work with paid traffic.

11. Don’t piecemeal together parts of ten different “coach the coach” programs.

Frankenstein was a hit movie but a stupid way to run a business.

Find ONE person/system whose style you like… pay and follow that ONE person/system without deviation.

As per above… it’s a solved problem.

You heard it here first.

A consultant in your network might need to read this today…

… forward it to them.

Now, pick up the phone and go help someone.
