Day 599: Lone Ranger

Yesterday I was explaining how reading a book, watching a video and listening to an audio is like sharpening a saw.

Speaking of being sharp…

I recently explained how I stopped doing interviews and joint ventures a few years ago and how it was an insanely smart decision for ME.

Got me uber FOCUSED and I was able to sharpen my saw by studying and understanding SaaS at a high level.

What I didn’t say and what some misunderstood me to say is that I’m ‘going it alone.’

Nope.

I’ve got all kinds of staff, we hired two people last week, and clients in over 47 countries.

Riding solo is about the WORST business strategy imaginable.

The Lone Ranger would have gotten his ass kicked in 2022.

He didn’t travel in a herd.

All animals do it.

The skills, strength, and various abilities of the herd is the individual members safety net.

Columbus didn’t come across on a kayak.

Edison had a herd.

Ford had a herd.

Zuck had a herd.

Bezos had a herd.

Musk has a herd.

Here it is in a sentence and I’ve said to you before:

“Your greatest successes will come through other people.”

Question:

What does your business coaching herd look like?

What are the various talents, strengths and experiences of your herd members?

Have a local accountant… a local digital marketer… connection at the Chamber referring you… a local business broker… head of the local incubator… head of BNI… franchise broker… a banker… someone at the radio station… a web designer… a promotional company… a local newspaper / magazine… an online directory… etc?

And, are you helping your client build a herd?
