Yesterday I was explaining the mistake business coaches make by getting a customer to make a sale.

Speaking of things that appear like a good idea but that you shouldn’t do…

My Godson is a pretty entertaining guy.

We were at Church on Sunday and I think he got it mixed up with the Super Bowl.

When the Pastor said something that he really liked and then told him to celebrate it…

He ran up and pored Gatorade on the Pastors head.

*might need to give it a week before we go back*

In other news…

With mask wearing coming to an end, the big losers are ugly people with beautiful eyes.

Anyhoo…

Here’s a Pro Tip from ‘flag football’ you can use when selling your high end coaching

that they’ll never teach you in ‘Sales School.’

I often used this successfully when selling my business coaching for $100,000+ way back in the mid 2000’s.

It falls under the category of ‘objection handling’…

… the only difference is, when done right, I didn’t need to ‘handle’ anything.

Whenever I was faced with an objection, I’d take a deep breath…

… silently count:

“One steamboat… two steamboats… three steamboats…” while looking them in the eyes with a small amount of intensity.

Before I was at three steamboats, like clockwork, they had already starting talking (people can’t handle your silence) and answered their own objections.

And when they didn’t answer their own objections, they had given me so much valuable information…

… their new info allowed me to easily close them.

Silence/pause is your very powerful friend.

Use it.

You heard it here first.

A consultant in your network might need to read this today…

… forward this to them.

Now, pick up the phone and go help someone.
