Yesterday I was explaining the power and magic of learning how to use words to wield an insane amount of power.
Most aren’t ready for it…
It shows in their language.
This feels like a perfect follow-up.
It’s probably not a surprise that ‘overthinking’ is an emergency brake to your productivity.
Contrary to the way it appears or the way it’s presented on FB advertising…
Success is not a Grand Slam.
Much like success in baseball…
It’s an insane number of singles… lots of doubles… a few triples here and there and sprinkles of home runs.
The majority are looking for home runs and therefore never take a swing cause they don’t see a good enough pitch.
Some thoughts on hitting singles (easy wins) with your productivity… and no longer overthinking:
- Every grand slam success you see was built off micro-commitments (singles)
- Follow through on micro-commitments (singles) destroys “talent” or people with more resources like money, contacts or experience
- Completed simple micro-commitments (singles) solve the complex problem / vision
- Fear was the DRIVER of the follow through on those micro-commitments (singles), rather than the handbrake, for home run business successes
