As you age you need to pay attention with your meds.

He started talking like an arsehole but his gums are no longer itching.

What you recognize in the people you admire, is what you possess, its just not developed.

Anyhoo…

Your ONE COACHING THING Today Is:

‘Three Doors’

Most people believe that if ‘they only had access to money they’d be able to solve all their business problems.

EH’NT (*loud wrong buzzer sound*)

Wrong.

That silly focus and attitude lead to a lack of creativity that is the death knell for so many businesses…

Founders spend days, weeks, months, and even YEARS trying to get “funded” and subsequently stay paralyzed during this time.

Money has its place, let’s not kid ourselves, but it’s safe to say it’s overvalued due to poor psychology.

Here are three doors I’d like you and your high-end coaching clients to consider walking through but you can only pick one.

  1. A loan for a hundred thousand dollars
  2. An investment of one hundred thousand dollars in exchange for equity in your business
  3. Endorsement from a person of influence that has a list of your IDEAL clients on it

Which door are you taking..?

I’d take door number 3 so FAST it’d make your head spin.

Hopefully, the reasons are obvious….

No loan to pay back, no equity to give up, and most importantly no one to answer to in the future.

Here’s the problem.

You haven’t made a list of nor approached a single person over the past 3 months that fits door number 3.

That’s why you have no endorsement deals currently and you don’t have the easy money you’re seeking behind doors number 1 and 2.

My experience is that if I can get only 2 excellent clients from an ‘ideal list’… it’s three times as good as going out and getting 6 clients ‘in the wild’.

Not only is it far more expensive to get new clients from ‘the wild’ (wild defined as FB, IG, LI, Google, networking, social media etc)… but it leads me to wish 80% would have bought from someone else.

*Not all clients are created equal… like sex with a ball in your mouth has gotta be way more fun*

Go form a joint venture that has your best and ideal clients already on their list.

“Your highest leverage position is to put yourself in a position… to only be speaking to your ideal prospects.”
