One Thing: Day 424: ‘The Friend Zone’

Day 424: ‘The Friend Zone’

Yesterday I gave you some of the best Steve Jobs quotes on life and business.

Many worshipped him and also many hated him.

For a great example of hatred…

The Vikings hate the Packers so much they refuse to win a Lombardi trophy.

In a further example…

My daughter called my wife dramatic… so my wife just changed the wifi password on her.

It’s about to go down.

In other news…

If you can smoke weed and still run faster than anyone else… you should get two gold medals.

Steve Jobs, in my opinion, is one of the most confident to have ever walked the planet.

I think he’d be comfortable saying he was loved or hated…

And that ‘Liked’ was not something he was going for.

Kinda like flashing back to high school…

“The Friend Zone”

No thanks.

Similar happens when you’re trying to close a high-end coaching client.

Here’s what I think a large part of the problem is.

When you’re not used to being confident…

Your confidence feels like arrogance.

When you’re used to being passive…

Your assertiveness feels like aggression.

When you’re not used to asking for the sale…

Asking for the sale feels pushy.

When you’re not used to, used to getting your own needs met…

Prioritizing yourself feels selfish.

Your current level of comfort is a horrific benchmark.

Get comfortable getting uncomfortable.

Help your high-end coaching clients do the same.

You heard it here first.

Obsessed with your business coaching success,
