Yesterday I was explaining Groupthink Theory…
STOP and THINK…
What do the Influencers want on FB / Instagram / YouTube etc…?
And guess how they get it..?

Speaking of enragement…
The Government returned my tax returns yesterday.
Apparently, I answered one of the questions incorrectly.
Government: Do you have anyone dependent upon you?
Me: 9.5 million illegal immigrants, 1.7 million drug addicts, 3.4 unemployed scroungers not looking for A JOB, 80,000 criminals in over 85 prisons plus 650 idiots working in the Government office with 7-figure beach houses and countless people leaning on shovels pretending to work while being drastically overpaid.
Me: Sorry, who did I leave out?

‘My FIRST Mental Model’
You’ve likely heard this a million times:
“There’s no such thing as a bad student… only a bad teacher.”
Not sure that’s 100% true as I do remember going straight to the Principles office rather than going to French class.
When my French teacher found me, I said:
‘You’ve sent me here three days in a row… its Friday, so I figured I’d save you the hassle.’
*True story… My Dad was a little more than pissed off*
If you can’t MOVE people… you’re not going to get very far as a business coach or while delivering Profit Acceleration.
The first Mental model my mentor (I strategically chased him for 2 years) taught me was:
‘Feynman Technique for Learning’
That’s fancy for:
1. SIMPLIFY everything you want to teach… to the point that you could teach it to a 13-year-old child with ADHD.
Steve Jobs was famous for taking the complex and making it simple.
I said this the other day: If you want to impress your prospects/audience/clients then use big words and difficult to understand concepts.
If you want to positively improve their lives, in a real and dramatic way, use simple concepts.
If you want to change the world…
Take COMPLEX concepts and make them SIMPLE concepts.
Only problem… IT’S HARD!
2. Dumb it down and practice until you understand the concept so well, a 13-year-old with ADHD can instantly follow what you’re explaining to them.
Use examples and relate the new concept to something they already understand.
Don’t try and connect something ‘they don’t know’ with something ‘they don’t know’.
Connect something THEY KNOW to something they don’t know.
Example: When I taught hockey to Americans that had never played…I used batting in baseball as my example to compare it to. When I taught in Australia, I used cricket as the comparative.
When teaching your business concepts… use examples they’ll know and understand from Dominos, Fed Ex, Amazon, and Apple to help explain.
‘Fresh piping hot pizza delivered in 30 minutes or less, or it’s free.’
‘When it absolutely positively needs to be there the next day.’
3. Organize, Simplify, and STORY.
Organize what you want to teach into a story that flows (beginning, middle, and end) and teaches your business concept.
A powerful story should have CONFLICT… but it’s usually missing.
*Almost everything Tony Robbins teaches is turned into a story. He appears to be doing well with his coaching business… maybe follow suit :o)
Help your high-end Profit Acceleration clients do the same 3 simple steps.
Want your client to sell their new client dog food to a purebred dog… get your client to tell a story (with conflict).
Want your client to sell their new client chlorine and maintenance with the pool… get your client to tell a story (with conflict).
Want your client to sell their new client insurance with your moving company… get your client to tell a story (with conflict).
