Day  409: The Opposite of The Secret

Yesterday I was explaining how when I fart it means ‘Wow, nice chili’.

Wifey sees it differently.

Speaking of farts…

Imagine if there was a 97.7% chance you would not shit your pants.

But you were forced to wear diapers just in case.

In other news…

If I make it through a day without hate messages from strangers telling me I’m going to hell… am I really living my best life?

Anyhoo…

Your ONE COACHING THING Today Is:

‘Action Bias’

This is another mental model to pour gasoline on your bank account.

The biggest challenge you’ll have with your high end coaching clients is getting them to DO SOMETHING.

Don’t feel lonely 95% of the books bought on Amazon don’t get read past chapter 1.

Didn’t discourage Jeff too much.

Why are your coaching clients not doing anything and why don’t they MOVE?

Every company, including yours, has these natural biases:

  • Bias towards appearance
  • Bias towards waiting
  • Bias towards ‘keeping busy’
  • Bias towards the next ‘big idea’
  • Bias towards large new projects

Therefore…

They have a bias towards NOT being action orientated.

Being action bias requires:

  • Accepting delayed gratification
  • Intentionality
  • Systems in place
  • Being held accountable

*FYI NONE of these four listed will come naturally to you or your coaching clients*

The three biases you want your clients to have…

  1. Bias Towards Action 
  2. Bias Towards Effectiveness and Efficiency
  3. Bias Towards Sustainability

Now get to work and get your clients to stop the natural biases… and to start biases towards ACTION.

They need to use this mental model to get it done.

They’ll need your help!
