Day  407: Mayweather VS Bryan

Yesterday I was explaining why ‘chilling out’ is a better strategy than sending the ‘ole uber annoying “hullo” email and text.

Speaking of chilling out…

My wife and I took my buddies dog to the beach.

He loves to run and you need to call his name for five minutes to get him to come.

The dogs name, Shark.

Speaking of things that make people run in all directions…

I got a text from a friend of mine.

Friend: I want to be a billionaire. Like my Uncle.

Me: What, your Uncle is a billionaire?

Friend: No. He wants to be a billionaire too.

*End Conversation*

Ok, so on Sunday night Floyd Mayweather fought YouTuber Logan Paul and I got asked about it a few hundred times…

Gotta give the crowd what they want.

Here it is:

A. I do kickboxing three times a week so I’m a bit of a fan

B. There’s business and marketing magic in dem der hills

The average Hall of Fame boxer is broke and broken by the age of 40.

Floyd Mayweather has made more in the last two exhibition matches than he ever made in two matches fighting for titles while going 50 – 0.

Plus he’s fighting guys that don’t know how to fight so there’s no fear of getting hurt.

Difference between Floyd Mayweather and the average boxer…

Three words:

Never Stop Promoting.

ESPN Reporter: Floyd how have you made over a billion dollars while most other boxers are broke?

Floyd Mayweather: The answer is simple, many boxers win fights but they ‘don’t get it’. The difference is I never stop promoting. I made over a billion dollars through promoting myself and my fights.

Not from boxing.

Winning matters but what really matters…

Never stop promoting.

The UFC has a HUGE fan base…

Mayweather went to that fanbase and fought their number one guy..

Conor McGregor.

Because Floyd took the promotion for the fight seriously…. he was promoted to over a 100 million UFC fighters.

Then he took those 100 million new followers… and brought them to watch him fight Logan Paul.

Another guy with a huge following.

He took it seriously… promoted the fight and gained another 100 million+ YouTube fans.

Who will he fight next?

I dunno…

But it won’t be a UFC guy or a YouTuber…

He’s already cherry-picked their audiences.

But…

He’ll bring his new 200 million followers with him.

Maybe he’s looking for a business coach to fight..?

I better ramp up my training.
