Recently I was explaining how ‘The Influencers’ have zero clue and some of the stupid advice they seem to spew out constantly.
I remember being in a room full of Influencers when the speaker asked if anyone had heard of Pavlov’s dogs.
I said:
“It rings a bell…”
Only one guy laughed.
In other news…
I have a Russian friend who’s a sound technician.
A Czech one too. A Czech one too.
Anyhoo…
‘Social Media HOOKS’
I was asked about headlines on my most recent podcast and I basically turned it into a 101 on creating a HOOK.
Similar but a million times as powerful if you understand driving and converting traffic online.
It got me thinking of effective applications for business coaches…
People go to Google to solve a specific problem:
‘How to write a business plan.’
‘Business plan templates.’
Or in my Godson’s case…
‘Why is my private part suddenly red…?
HAHA
*That was a joke… please relax*
These are the specific types of problems people go to Google to solve.
Back to the point….
People do not go to Facebook to solve a specific problem… they use Google for that.
They don’t go to Facebook looking for specific information.
They’re randomly scrolling their newsfeed and if something GRABS THEIR ATTENTION…
They’ll stop…
Therefore, if you’re trying to get business on social media…
You’ll need to learn how to create effective HOOKS.
Here are a few of mine:
“How I earned $167,000 in my first 12 months online as a business coach.”
“How I generated 350 red hot business coaching leads in 90 days using Google.”
“How I earned $789,000 in 12 months as a Virtual Business Coach.”
If you want to generate business coaching clients on social media… spend time coming up with your HOOK.
Promoting something like this… “Detroit Business Seminar” or “Des Moines Marketing Workshop…” “Let Me Help You Take Business to the Next Level…”
You’ll want to adjust your approach.
The only thing those are going to HOOK anyone into… is ignoring you.
