One Thing: Day 380: Your Messy Bed Sheets

Day 380: Your Messy Bed Sheets

Yesterday I gave you the second part of how Jake Paul made $10,000,000 beating up an ex-basketball player…

Then repeated his remarkable performance by beating up a guy that looked like he knocked over 12 Coronas last night.

Talk about marketing prowess!

And for everyone that messaged me, and that I ignored, telling me Jake Paul only made $900,000 from his fight…

That’s the equivalent of saying Tom Brady only made $15,000,00 last year when in actuality he made about $100,000,000 when you factor his good looks, endorsements, and everything else that goes with being married to Giselle and winning 7 Super Bowls.

Speaking of beer, good looks, and deserved endorsements…

You might not know this about me… but I’m an outdoorsy kinda guy.

As in, I like drinking beer on patios.

In other news…

Can someone let Wifey know that on the weekend when she asks what I’m doing and I reply:

That does not mean, I’m free and available.

It means I’m doing nothing.

‘Making the Bed’

Last week I was talking a lot about looking in the mirror rather than out the window… effectively self-reflection over self-preservation.

When you make your bed, properly, it becomes a disaster before it becomes orderly.

The same is true for you and your high-end coaching clients when clearing and cleaning between your ears.

Keep this in mind when you take on something new (become a business coach!) or when you start working with a new high-end coaching client…

Don’t get surprised when overwhelm strikes or when it sends them into a tailspin.

Expect it.

Tell them to expect it.

Now, I’m off to go make my bed.

But not really…

My wife does that and there’s 27 pillows that she takes on and off the bed each day for a reason I’ll never understand.

She’s like Ben Stiller in ‘Something About Polly’ (great flick!!).

You heard it here first.
