Yesterday I was explaining what it takes to be remarkable…

Pro Tip: You need people to REMARK.

Speaking of people remarking…

Bachelor ended last night and I have to say Matt James is my favorite Bachelor ever…

And by a country mile.

I feel horrible for Rachel and pray for her and her journey.

I feel horrible for Matt and pray for him and his journey.

My wife and children have native blood and I know a thing or two about racial insensitivity.

I pray we can all educate ourselves at a higher level…

More importantly, we can use that education to ACT differently.

I include myself in that conversation.

In other news…

Give your children your wisdom…

Don’t give them your wounds.

Anyhoo…

Your ONE COACHING THING Today Is:

‘Becoming Legendary’ Part 1 of 2

I was asked recently on my podcast:

“What drives you?”

The answer was a long and in-depth one that provided many profitable lessons but in a nutshell…

There are only four possible answers and they are:

Money

Freedom

Love

Status

With 100% certainty, you are driven mostly by one of these four.

It’ll be a worthy exercise to determine which one.

Question: If one was taken away from you….

Which one would drive you insane?

That’s your answer.

My wife is driven by Freedom…

Some Presidents, Entrepreneurs, Athletes etc… go on to make a positive impact and become legends of our time.

On average these folks are HEAVILY driven by status.

So am I.

George Washington led the American revolution…and got his face on the American dollar bill.

Not bad.

Let’s dissect Georgey Porgey and others of his ilk… like:

Henry Ford

Jeff Bezos

Steve Jobs

Abraham Lincoln

Madam CJ Walker

Mohammed Ali

Oprah Winfrey

Nelson Mandela

Michael Jordan

Gandhi

Madonna (She’s hot and a biz woman on steroids so deal with it)

Tony Robbins

Many more could be listed but you no doubt get the idea…

If you’re a business coach how do you become a legend and join this list like George Washington?

There are multiple factors at play to achieve this level of impact or lead the American Revolution like Georgey Porgey…. but there’s ONE KEY INGREDIENT for all these legends.

Desire, experience, and intelligence will not get it done.

Of course, you will need a basic understanding of how to elevate a business coaching client’s business.

The lead singer of a band can’t rock the house if he can’t hold a tune.

Trust me…

I’ve tried wearing leather pants during an ill-fated Karaoke contest… Grease Lightning has never been the same.

Assuming you’re prepared to do the work and have a proven methodology, there’s one key ingredient that separates the business coach that transforms businesses from the forgotten 4th place finisher.

Every industry has the same key ingredient… politics, acting, music, coaching, sports etc…

One business coach goes on to make millions and the others fight for the droppings.

I can sum up this single key ingredient in two words.

And I’ll let you know what those two words are tomorrow…
