Day 355: Because…

Yesterday I wrote a scathing letter to the idiot Influencers everyone follows and also explained how Cancel Culture has gone to Communist levels.

It’s no secret that I’m not a fan of Cancel Culture.

But, I do think the Rocky statue needs to be taken down.

He beat up three black guys and a communist.

Anyhoo…

Your ONE COACHING THING Today Is:

“BECAUSE…”

A popular study was conducted where University students tried to cut in front of a long line to get a drink of water and then a follow-up study to get a series of photocopies done.

During lunch break they would approach a long line of people waiting for the photocopier… and they would use one of three scripts:

Request only:

“Excuse me I have 5 pages, can I use the photocopy machine?” – 67% allowed the person to step in… no valid reason, just a request of using the photocopier before them.

Request with a ridiculous reason:

“Excuse me I have 5 pages, can I use the photocopy machine because I need to make copies.” 93% allowed them to step in.

Request with a legit reason:

“Excuse me I have 5 pages, can I use the photocopy machine because I’m in a rush” 94% allowed the person to step in.

Remember this from your childhood…?

Mom: Do the dishes.

You: Why?

Mom: Because I said so.

Or…

Dad: Clean your room.

You: Why:

Dad: Because if you don’t, you’re not allowed to go outside…

Or…

Teacher: Complete your homework.

You: Why?

Teacher: Because your assignment is due on Friday.

You’ve been conditioned and programmed to do what people said…

Simply BECAUSE someone told you to.

Good News:
