Yesterday I was telling you a story about Ferrari and Maserati competing… and the subsequent results a few short years later.
Speaking of cars…
Back in the day when you bought a car, the owners’ manual told you how to adjust the valves.
Today it tells you not to drink the contents of the battery.
Ummmm.
Anyhoo…
Your ONE COACHING THING Today Is:
‘Who’s Shaking the Jar?’
This one is slightly political so please brace yourself.
Possibly go take a pee.
I made the ghastly error of getting into a VERY SHORT, but painful, political debate on FB with a friend suffering from cognitive dissonance (no matter what they see or hear it supports existing belief).
Of course, his friends jump in spewing ridiculousness and I quickly took my facts and exited stage left.
Better things to do and no one is changing anyone’s mind.
Including mine.
If you take 50 red fire ants and 50 black ants… place them in a jar together.
Nothing happens.
They’re like red and black ants having a good time climbing over one another in a glass jar.
If you violently shake the jar….
The red fire ants will fight the black ants…
… till death!
The red ants think the black ants are the enemy… and the black ants think the red ants are the enemy.
Like a weird ant bar fight straight out of Goodfellas.
Reality?
The enemy is the person that violently shook the jar.
Why are we all so divided and why does the world feel so upside down right now?
Democrat vs Republican
Lockdown vs No Lockdown
Stand vs Kneel
Black vs White
Russia vs America
Mask vs No Mask
Capitalist vs Socialist
All you should want to know is… who the hell keeps shaking the jar?
And…
WHY DO THEY INSIST ON CONTINUING TO SHAKE IT?
Media, famous people, and old school politicians… cough cough.
PLEASE start seeing the entire playing field.
It’s a nightmare and there’s a high price to pay.
