Last week I explained how your high end coaching clients need a detailed list of roles and responsibilities for each position in the company.
In order to help systematize your high-end coaching clients and help them build businesses that scale…. you’ll need to learn how to turn actions into documented processes rather than them relying on ‘talent’.
By creating a procedure for each position in the company you’ll make it possible for new people to come on board and not act as a bottleneck.
When it comes time to sell… these documented roles will increase the value and attractiveness of the company immeasurably.
Here are 5 simple steps to creating a powerful operations manual within your high-end coaching clients business:
Start with the vision/mission of the company. Make a list of every position in the company. Create a checklist of roles and responsibilities for each position. Create a document with information on all the products and services the company provides. Ensure every staff member has and understands the manual. As change and new information becomes available… ensure the documents are updated.
Pay specific attention to number 6.
Very common for a company to create an operations manual… never update it and it becomes the butt of internal jokes.
