Last week I finished off with Vanilla Ice promising America if there was a problem he’d solve it, how the Government is now going for my plasma TV, and getting creative promoting Luxury Margins on a budget.

Speaking of doing things on a budget…
This is pure gold for an aggressive coaching client that wants to grow quickly without breaking the bank.
What I’m talking about is a favorable promotion for your new high end coaching clients through media and publicity.
Several ways to generate PR so here’s a list of a few that you will want to incorporate into your high-end coaching client’s strategy:
1. Joining forces with a charity.
Find one that’s in line with your personal and corporate philosophy as well as aggressive and visible with their promotional activities.
By aligning with them you can use them as leverage for media exposure.
The NFL wearing pink for Breast Cancer is a perfect example.
2. By having a loud and flamboyant character as a Leader.
I may or may not express my opinions intentionally… and the abuse may or may not work in my favor and get me an insane amount of shares, sign-ups to my list, and conversations started :o)
3. By being an expert source of information.
Conduct a poll or survey and announce the results.
Important you’re able to talk about /defend/elaborate on those results in public and you will quickly become an expert and reliable resource for information in your field.
Blog regularly or build a list and send a daily email.
4. Use original and creative promotion.
When I owned my hockey rink we broke a world record and got lots of promotional mileage… your coaching client could have an Easter bunny breakdance rather than just stand outside your store holding a sign…. The local bar can offer free wings when a specific player on the professional hockey team has a fight.
A professional baseball team has a midget in the lineup and brings him up to bat in tough situations where the pitcher struggles to throw three strikes.
PURE GOLD haha.
5. Host your own Podcast and interview prospective clients as a form of lead generation.
Imagine being a business coach… having your own podcast called ‘YOUR CITY NAME Business Breakthroughs’… Where you interview local business owners each week.
After the interview you say “Ya, I have a process where I can find any business owner $100k in 45 minutes without them needing to spend an extra dollar on marketing or advertising.
All backed up by proprietary software that runs a business through 497,000,000 weighted algorithmic sequences that populates a roadmap for them to use over the next 12 months.”
Business owner replies:
“Excuse me !?@?!$&!… You can do what and your software has how many million weighted algorithmic sequences that’ll help me… I’m curious?”
You: Yes, you heard correctly and it’s a very powerful process to undertake for your business and the results are usually mind boggling.
As a thank you for being so amazing here today… I normally charge big money for my process but if you’d like I’ll do one for you at no charge.
You’ll likely have some questions as we go along so I’ll give you 90 minutes in contra for today’s amazing value.

6. Become a guest speaker on radio, TV shows, podcasts etc…
Podcasters are always looking for experts in their respective fields to interview and talk with.
Become the expert and you’ll be able to turn small shows into larger more impressive gigs through promotion.
7. Develop a press kit and news releases.
This is the basic promotional tool you will need to get PR.
A press kit is not much more exciting than a collection of basic information about your business, product, and service.
The news release is simply something topical about why their readers should care and be prepared to read about you and your high-end coaching clients.
Many businesses have generated millions of dollars of free advertising using nothing more than a press kit and REGULAR news releases.
One of the major flaws and mistakes with free advertising and promotion… not using these opportunities as further leverage with your marketing.
An example is getting an article in a magazine to promote you and what you have to say and not photocopying that article a thousand times and using it as further promotion for your business while corresponding with prospects…
Like on your website, marketing materials, social media profiles etc…
