One Thing: Day 195: Worth Talking About

Day 195: Worth Talking About

Last week I was talking about the power being first and how to build a powerful brand.

Speaking of branding…

I also managed to get myself abused multiple times which is starting to feel like a trend.

So, here it goes again.

Defunding the Police is about the MOST IDIOTIC idea I’ve ever heard. Anyone that suggests something so stupid needs to get their head examined.

Yes, there needs to be some changes and there’s clearly some arrogance.

There’s also a lot of PTSD from great men placed in harms way… day in and day out.

In the words of one of my best friends over the weekend, a career Policeman:

“Nothing good is happening when the Police are called.”

The view of ‘the entire playing field’ dictates soon there will be no more Police.

Who would possibly be stupid enough to want that job?

Ironically, the people screaming ‘defund the Police’ the loudest are the ones that need them the most.

Careful what you wish for.

Anyhoo…

Your ONE COACHING THING Today Is:

‘How to Create Something Worth Talking About’

I got a ton of responses last week on the importance of being different and standing out. More specifically I was asked ‘how can I help my high end coaching clients become worth talking about?’

‘Me Too’ or ‘Me Better’ are just not going to get it done anymore.

Here are some areas where you can help your client become worth talking about:

The Simplest

The Hardest

The Smallest

The Biggest

The Most Efficient

The Best

The Cheapest (careful on this one!)

The Most Expensive

The Slowest

The Fastest

The First

The Last

The Newest

The Oldest

The Most Popular

The Least Popular

The Most Unique

The Only

That should be enough to get the hamsters running.

Help your client pick one and have your client own it in the mind of local consumers.

Avis is number two so they try harder.

Toms ‘one for one’ strategy gives a child in need a pair of shoes for every pair that you buy.

Good ideas spread.

You heard it here first.
