Day 184: A $100 Million Dollar Company

If masks work then why are we social distancing?

If social distancing works then why are we wearing masks?

If masks and social distancing work then why are our small, family-owned, businesses closed?

If we can stand in line at the grocery store… why can’t you stand in line to vote?

Problem is that they don’t recognize the critical relationship between HR and their continuing success.

Therefore they stop growing due to a lack of human capital. 

In my company, we do our best to treat our staff like family (not perfect but the results suggest we’re doing a pretty good job).

Lost almost no one over the years and have had 7 staff members that have been with me for almost a decade. You can work with an HR company that provides the best HR solutions.

Managing staff is HARD and needs time, attention, and growth.

I coached a trucking company… staffing was a huge challenge for him.

I told him to place a plaque on the wall for their drivers with the number of miles they’ve driven and the deliveries they’ve made.

Every six months… if a driver performs to a certain level (sick days, on-time deliveries, clean truck etc…) they send the driver on a trip for two to Vegas with $500 of gambling money.

They also create a ‘friendly relationship’ with the drivers and invite them to their house a couple of times a year.

Like attracts like and the drivers recruit excellent new drivers for them.

Cause they refer one another they keep one another in check to a certain degree.

You can’t succeed at the highest level without surrounding yourself with talented people.

Help your clients take recruiting, training, and development seriously.
