Day 181: Perfectoin

My cat and I were scratching at the Scratching Post when I explained to her yesterday’s advice of how most people get something work so well… they no longer do it.

Boo boo, agreed that it’s kinda stupid.

Speaking of stupid, my rather average friends suddenly think they can sing, dance, and cook while under their involuntary Government Mandated Lockdown.

My FB feed is like an episode of ‘Quarantines Got Talent’

Dolly Parton says that you’re likely at the stage of lockdown where you’re beggin’ Jolene to take your man.

Your ONE COACHING THING Today Is…

“Perfection”

Introduce me to a perfectionist and I’ll introduce you to someone that doesn’t get much done.

‘Perfection’ is the lowest standard on Earth… it stops it from happening.

Stop it.

I remember back in 2006 I had one of my business coaches hear me say something from stage that cracked him up.

Everyone in the audience had paid $10,000 to $45,000 to be part of my program.

When I was done for the day he asked me to autograph one of my books with what I had said to a room full of professionals:

“Screw it up and see what happens.”

HAHA

Kinda like the daily emails I send with gramatical errors from top to bottom.

When I read the original ones in this series… I cringe.

I’ll likely cringe at this post in 12 months as I get better.

But you’re reading it.
