Day 127: 91% Were Wrong 

Yesterday I was explaining the number one mistake coaches make online.

I taught it ten years ago and it’s still the same number one mistake today.

Only way worse.

Moral Of The Story:

No one actually listens to me and therefore this sleep deprivation thing from writing daily emails and posts has been a total waste of time?

Anyhoo….

Today’s ONE THING is another reason to do social media strategically… it’s from none other than Theodore Roosevelt:

“Comparison Is The Thief Of Joy.”

You’re comparing your insides to someone else’s outsides.

You’ll seldom measure up.

Unless of course, the other person is a total dog’s breakfast. 

Here’s a business example you’re coaching clients will appreciate.  

Are You:

1) Chasing the competition?

2) The market leader and others are chasing you?

You likely identify with option 1 even if option 2 is your reality.

So will your high-end business coaching clients.

A poll done with 1000 business owners found that 72.5% thought they were the bottom half of earners in their category.

Simple MATH says it can only be 50%…. 22.5% had to be wrong without any further research.

After the research was completed, they found 9% guessed correctly. 

If you’re as confused as I am right now….

Here’s What Matters:

When left to ‘their own comparisons’…. 91% were dead wrong.

Stop comparing and subsequently robbing yourself of self-acceptance and the happiness you so richly deserve.  

It’s an insult to the unique, creative and beautiful qualities within YOU.

Mastery is competing with the person you were yesterday.

Imagine if someone was nuts enough to write a daily post to you with ONE THING to make you a little better than yesterday and therefore do all the work for you…

How CRAZY would that be?
