One Thing: Day 101: Running From Fear
Day 101: Running From Fear
Last week we finished off talking about how activity breeds confidence and then I did a ‘by popular request’ email with a weekly roundup.
After getting over 10,000 emails asking ‘where do I find XYZ post’ I thought it best to start doing this for you on a weekly basis.
Don’t say I don’t listen :o)
This one is dedicated to ‘Mad Dog.’
You may or may not remember a very popular email I sent where I explained how my buddy ‘Mad Dog’ was afraid to jump off a cliff while everyone in the boat (who had already jumped and it was from death-defying) started chanting:
‘Mad Dog… Mad Dog… Mad Dog’ encouraging him to jump.
I was in charge and had to wade in the water while he deliberated the, not very scary, leap.
Needless to say, when he hit the water I changed his nickname to something other than Mad Dog.
Today’s ONE THING is staying on the ‘activity’ theme and it’s that:
“Successful people act in the face of fear while unsuccessful people sit idle or run in the other direction.”
Don’t be Mad Dog when it comes time to:
Make the call.
Send the email.
Ask for the order.
You heard it here first.
